Hello

Been awhile... I've actually moved to a different blog (since I forgot that I had this one); it's called MaiMel

Lots of changes have happened. I don't write as much as I did previously. I work one job now as opposed to having three jobs like several years ago.

I've been tired a lot. I'm not sure why. It's been a humdrum existence. But I'm alive so there's that :)

What else to say? I moved in with my boyfriend. We are trying to start a family (and very much enjoying all the practicing ;) ...)

I'm learning Korean. Cooking more. I love a man who makes me smile and laugh/cry ...he drives me crazy.

He completes me in a way that I didn't think possible. Yes, being a romantic and all that.

So there... at some point, I'll post my new blog's link on here. Maybe if I remember to do so. Anyways, hope everyone else is okay out there.

Positive thoughts :)

Tired

Is it normal to feel so tired ... Every day, I am tired.

I don't know how long I can do this. Alone.
It doesn't bother me.
It is lonely, though.

Alone.

Today...

I told my mother the reason why I have been "sick" ... That it wasn't because I had a cold or a flu. I mean it could be -- I do have a weakened immune system. But it's partly because of the chemo.

I'm more exhausted. I cannot help it. It's like I cannot get enough rest no matter how much I get.

In any case - I don't like feeling weak. Or be seen as weak. I don't like crying. All of this is tiring, exhausting. And it is going to be an entire year. I have done my first one already. Only eleven more to go. But still.

I don't want to.

But I don't want to give up, either.

What do I do?

So ...

It is now September.

I started chemo on the last Friday of August - and I'm still recovering and I'm exhausted. Still. I'm not sure if my body will get used to this. If ever.

I supposedly have beaten it, but with one test result - things changed.
With that one -- it all changed and I have had to change plans. And now the waiting begins once more.

I have been instructed to keep a journal. Of sorts. But I really don't want to write how I feel pain, or how I can't keep food down, or how I just don't feel hungry. I don't feel any better though it has only been one treatment ... And it is scary. Very. I'm scared. What if it doesn't work? What if I also have to do radiation?

There's so many things ... So many different factors.

I feel alone but at the same time I know I'm not. I'm not giving up, but it feels like I should. It would be so easy to.

There's this online journal

.... I keep. In fact I have a few. There's my longtime affair with Xanga. Then I was on livejournal for a stint and currently I have one on blogspot. And I do keep some "notes" on here as well for a spell ... I keep an actual notebook too but I have no ideal what suitcase it's in or box it's currently unpacked along with sketch books it is currently resting with but log story short I keep one to chronicle my thoughts and feelings and drawings and everything else - and I updated my blogspot one last night or was it this morning - hmmm. I do not think I will be doing another friends w/bens nor will I be diving into a casual - I would rather be alone than be reckless with someone's feelings - just not my cup of tea. It was fun for the short stint that it was, but really not my style. So I apologize way in advance for all the boys I'm about to friend zone in the time being because I just cannot just do the fun and games. I know my worth and to echo a picture from previous - you're just going to have to wait because as much as I enjoy and like doing the act I really don't need it - I survived without for two years and thanks for the short stint that I did have I am good to go to not having for a long time again (7/12 super moon is imprinted and will be in my memory for awhile so whomever is the next lucky dude you have to prove lol) and you're going to be more extraordinary and far more amazing, too. Hope you're up to the task. The ante has risen up. Wonder who would be up to the task at hand. Anyone willing to take the challenge?

It's been awhile hasn't it!

Hello :waves: hope all is well everyone 😄

I would love to make this a long post but we shall see how this goes, okies?
It's been a roller coaster of changes and really when has my life now been? Moved from one place to another and here's another chapter of my life closing so that a new one can start - had a side note happen briefly - let's title it LMN for referring purposes and what not - and it was fun while it lasted however brief it was though it could have been great but that is neither here nor there so anyways last time I was on this journal I was with B and that ended officially on four twenty and that relationship ended awhile back but we kept trying and taking each other back and it was insanity on both of our parts - we were just not good together as a couple and maybe someday we could be friends but right now idk where we stand - acquaintances? Even though we knew each other for three years, I don't think we really knew the other well - it wasn't love. More like a deep care for one another. I hope we can be friends ...someday. Perhaps. We shall see. As for the brief LMN snippet - it is what it is. What I feel about him - well neither here not there. It's done. Brief and done. Fun while it lasted. On to the next chapter. Let's just say I won't be forgetting 7/12 any time soon ...it's a great memory regardless of what has transpired since. Oh well. It is what is. I'm going to get my own place soon and moving ...again. And it's going to be mine. Reconnected with a friend surprisingly today that I haven't heard from two years or so. It's nice and I'm rambling. My brain is filled with swirling thoughts and it's just a jumble in there and my heart? Yes, it's hurting but I'm internalizing like I always do. It's how I deal. Typically, I run or sing my frustrations. Or binge watch anime. Keep myself busy by writing or drawing / sketching. Anything but my thoughts - yea. I have no control. It does what it wants and LMN - yea. Oh well. Sooner that will fade, too. I wish my subconscious would quit messing with me, though. I'm sure at some point I will reach my breaking point. My limit so to speak. But this is why I internalize it. I don't have a soundboard - except for here. Oh! I do have exciting news: on August 29, I'll find out for sure that I have beaten cancer. Just waiting on a few more tests but all signs so far are pointing yes. 👍😄 as soon as that's done I'll move forward in figuring what's going on with the cyst in one of my ovary and I'm still figuring out what's going on with my migraines and headaches. Currently I'm taking 100mg of topamax and still wake up and sleep with a headache ...sighs. Tomorrow is the second super moon. September will be the third super moon. No repeat performances of 7/12 ..... And my second tattoo will be of Fairy Tail guild logo. Now to figure when and where to get it. Alright I think that's all I got - sorry reader for the fragments, run-ins and all that, I'm sort of free writing with no filter right now ...though there are no curse words at all. ✌️🐼

Being Thankful

I've learned to roll with the punches, but lately, I think I have taken more hits and I really need to learn how to drop and duck. It's been a myriad of emotions ... I go from sad to miserable to anger and I'm not sure what to do.

But I am thankful for my life and the fact that I've almost live thirty years on this land.

Thankful for the lessons I've learned. Mostly I have made mistakes and for the most part I have learned, but not really. I feel empty inside and I don't know if I should be worried about my health any more because it is crap.

Thankful for the people I've met. I have learned to not be open but have also learned that I can trust again. Sure, it may have been foolish for my part but you know what? I now have learned that, too.

It's been an exciting life thus far.

I'm thankful for the friends I have remaining. Most of them are lingering thoughts, but they are there for a reason regardless. I'm thankful for whiskey. And bread. And jasmine rice.

I'm thankful for being able to learn and re-learn some things and discovering that even when I'm down, that I'm not down for the count. I'm around still. For some odd reason, I keep getting back up.

I'm even thankful for headaches because if I didn't have them any more, I'm pretty sure I have become numb permanently.

I remember how I was about five years ago... that self is long gone and have been replaced with someone wiser and older about how life works. I have been hurt and hurt a few more times after that. But even with my battered heart, my dying body and my ever-lustful spirit ... for some odd reason, I'm still here.

And for that, I'm thankful. I'm thankful for still having whatever ounce of fighting spirit that courses through my veins.

It'll Be Thanksgiving Soon... helloooo November

Winter is Coming ...

But first, Thanksgiving, Winter Solstice, etc etc ...

I have another doctor's appointment on December. It's four days before my thirtieth birthday, too. The test I had done in October resulted in my December appointment... the doctor is hoping that this procedure will make healthier cells grow. If not, well some sort of treatment will be formulated and hopefully I can beat this.

It's not every day someone gets diagnosed with two types of cancers.

Undisclosed Truth

I use to find joy in writing. Writing was how I expressed myself.... I poured my entire being into a story. And whatever story it was that I was currently writing at the time, it became a part of me. And now I'm writing a more personal story, and this time you have no idea how scared I am.

People used to hang out with me because they thought I was someone who I wasn't .... this enjoyable person that loved to go clubbing and dancing and drinking, which really I do like that doing that stuff, but that isn't me. I splurged and treated "friends" on many occasion, but I got tired of it and the more I showed who I am inside, the more people couldn't believe that was me. But yes, I'm not that person, and as much as I wanted to be that carefree individual, I'm not.

For those who know me, I'm very private which is the opposite of my alter-ego. I loved the attention, not gonna lie. I did enjoy, but I'm not the social butterfly everyone thought I was...

I was someone like that before, but that isn't me. I'm shy, but I do get out of my shell more often than I like. And this new path in my life is one of the hardest ones I will ever have traveled. Harder than the path it took me to find out who my birth parents are.

I want to say I'm doing it alone, but I'm not alone. I have a stable foundation. It's rocky because I keep pushing people away. That's me on the defense... and I appreciate each and every one of them very much. They are my foundation, my rock.

And I don't know how to thank them. I don't know how to show it. Aside from saying 'thank you,' but they deserve more than that...

I love them. And love is scary, too. I have been hurt way too many times. So I push ... me on the defensive. But the people who I have it my life now. They see me struggle and in pain, but they don't leave me. They keep me going. Every time I'm negative, someone has a positive thing to say. Or do.

Honestly, I have no idea how I'm supposed to do this ...  it's painful. And I have no idea how to put myself together. Or how to keep going. Nights are the hardest; it's when the tears sneak up and I can't hold them any longer.

I'm not sure how to cope. All I can do is not give up and keep going. Think positively. Keep smiling and fake it until it becomes reality.

... I am overwhelmed.

September Flew Right By...

And it is now October.

So, news: I have been recently diagnosed by cancer. And thus, begins my new journey ... onto a path I never thought I would need to be on ever in my life.

Needless to say, I'm overwhelmed. Very much so. And honestly, I don't know how to even begin to take it all in. I really don't.

I smile because it's a lot easier to do. It's easier to pretend everything is okay than having to explain. A lot easier to just take it one day at a time. Never thought I would be here, though.

Never would have imagined it in a million years.

I get it why I keep being told that I'm too young to have this.... I get it. Because most women get diagnosed later in their years. And you know what? Ovarian cancer is the fifth deadliest cancer for women. It is a silent killer.

There is no way to detect it earlier, but there are symptoms that every women should be aware of:
  • Bloating
  • Pelvic or abdominal pain
  • Trouble eating or feeling full quickly
  • Feeling the need to urinate urgently or often

Other symptoms of ovarian cancer can include:
  • Fatigue
  • Upset stomach or heartburn
  • Back pain
  • Pain during sex
  • Constipation
  • Menstrual changes
[http://www.ovarian.org/detection.php]

If you exhibit any or all of those symptoms, please Take Early Action and Live. According to whyteal.org, "this year, more than 22,000 women will be newly diagnosed." That's about 1 in 71 women. And it so happened to be me being 1 ....

Please take care. I doubt I will be here as much. Maybe I'll turn this into a journal of sorts ... I used to write as an outlet for everything... nowadays, it's just ... painful.

I have been very lucky to have met the people I've met in my life. They help shape me into who I am today. I have been hurt, been forgotten by so-called friends, and even called names. And I have forgiven them all. I don't need people like that in my life. I am doing fine on my own... kind of. I'm still here. Living it day by day.

Maybe I'll write a more poignant, emotional post later on. I do have an appointment -a follow up- on October 28. I would ask for luck, but it is a wee bit past time for that.

An Open Letter to the World

It's almost September. This year has gone by very fast, and it seems that everyone has an opinion or something to say who I am. Thanks, but if you don't know who I am, please don't criticize me. You have the right to have an opinion, but this doesn't mean your opinion is right.

I get why people think I'm off or weird. Because I am. I am wired differently from most people. I don't care how I look on a given day, but since I do have to appear as if I care, then I project that image. When I'm doing something, it is because I want to do that something. It isn't because it has been told to me that it is good for me or have been brought to my attention via suggestion. The reason I do things are my reasons. I don't belong to anyone. I'm adopted... and that very phrase means so much to me more than you can know. I am not shaped by unfortunate circumstance, but I could have been very well be. The family that adopted me ... rather, the women who have to care for me and have helped shaped me into who I am.... not only am I shaped by them, I'm shaped by my peers, colleagues... society as a whole and the environment that brought me up shaped me to who I am today.

The person I am right now is still growing. Individually finding the shoes that fit. Spearheaded by my stubbornness and my childlike attitude, there is a mature individual here. I might be confused most of the times, but I have always landed on my feet. I seek the truth and you know, it might actually scare me into obedience, but I doubt it very much.

I don't like to conform, and when I do, it's because I can. I can ....if needed to. I understand there are rules and procedures, but sometimes those should be broken. I have known much and known very little.

I am quite okay. People often wonder about me, too. It's like I'm so damn fragile that I have to laid on satin sheets and feathers.

I probably should quit having those eyes... I am not sorry that I am very expressive. Again, I don't apologize to who I am. I don't apologize for being me. And if you can't accept me, then that's your right. You do whatever you want. I will always be who I am meant to be.

I'm not a puppet. But I'm not a leader, either. I'm just me.

It's the only way I can be.

Reminiscing Isn't Always Bad...You Just Have To Be Careful In What You Are Thinking About

The latest feeling I have had to experience today was hope. I felt hope and it made me feel happy. The job I have now... sometimes, it's hard not to ask "are you okay" because most of the people I talk to on a daily basis live with a disease that there is no cure for, and no, I'm not talking about the "c" word.

It's called MS or multiple sclerosis. There's different types (I bet you didn't know that!) ... there's relapsing, remitting, remitting persistent, etc ... and the drugs that are out there to help people cope with their disease can sometimes make it harder for day-to-day living.

But it is amazing how one individual or a group of individuals in an organization can make such a difference. Most people think that pharmaceutical companies are just out there for the money; and yes, I can see how that argument would go, but I can also see how it is from the other side... some people actually do want to help. It's not all about the money, but in the grand scheme of things, it is all about the lives that are helped.

Imagine one person being able to help; now imagine an entire organization who not only makes the products but also provide the assistance to the public.

As for why I've titled this post the above sentence (err... fragment, whatevs) ... I just feel as if I'm only moving for the sake of moving. I had motivation once upon a time. I really did. Nowadays, it's the same ole thing. And I do love my job. I love where I am. I love what I'm doing. It's just that olde feeling again.... the feeling that I should be doing more. And I know I deserve more, but should I also be doing more? I don't know.

I have a new group of friends I hang out with and see, and it's great and all. Learning new things are always a plus, but that annoying feeling - that I should be doing more in my life ... it has stuck its head out and really, I wish it hadn't.

/shrugs

Never in my wildest dreams would I have seen myself where I am now. And to be quite honest, I don't know how to feel about that. Hmmm.

Summer Lingers in August while September Sweetly Whispers to Ears, "Autumn is Right Around the Corner"

It's been one interesting roller-coaster of emotions, but if you know me at all in RL, then you know that isn't any breaking news. (Wow, I've started this entry with a bunch of cliche sounding phrases. HA!)

So, it is August. And this summer has been one sleeper of events, unexpected outbursts, and overall happiness. I have traded in my 2008 Chevy Cobalt for a 2007 Sahara Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (insert enthusiastic smile right here) ... oh yea. My car Sam is no match to my trail-ready Dean. (bonus points to whomever can guess why I named my vehicles those names, but just like Who's Line Is It Anyways. the points do not matter. Teeheehee)

Have I said that I love my job? I bet I did, but I'm going to say it again: I LOVE MY JOB. Some days, it can be stressful, but I would not trade it for anything. My co-workers, the work environment, the guarantee of a raise each year... can't really complain. Well, I can, but it's not the job's fault; it's the people ...err the patients and maybe some coworkers of mine located in a different site. Yet, even the patients themselves can bring an otherwise mundane Monday and make into something special. I don't exactly know how to describe it, but yea. That's how I feel and I'm sticking to it.

I did do something this past Sunday that I never thought I would do, and what I did was accompany a coworker to see a psychic. And yes, I had a reading done, too. And it wasn't anything earth-shattering, but I am quite surprised that she knew that much about me. And I guess I will find out if what she said will be true; she gave me a date of sorts so we shall see. (She also gave me a timeline of sorts ---about a next step in regards to my relationship status so that's the second half of which we shall see, too)

We shall see indeed. My coworker and I ---well she's a friend now I suppose so let me rewrite that: my friend and I agreed that we will see the same psychic next year, around the same time frame we did this year.

I find that I'm susceptible to people's emotions so on a daily basis my mood is never stable. However, I've learned how to control it. Kinda. Who knows.

It'll be Winter Soon Enough

I figured I should write since it has been about six months since I've last updated ...let's see: I love my job.I love what I do. I make a difference in someone's life every day, and it feels like I've fallen into my niche. Some things have changed -again- but that's how my life is. Full of surprises and they aren't always the best.

In about five months or so, I will be closing the chapter known as my 20s. Tragic, right? Not really. I consider my 20s as the Learning Years. Because I have learned a lot. I got my heart broken, then stitched right back up only to get broken again. Growing pains. Gotta love 'em. Or hate 'em. I'm impartial. I remember falling in love with a group of people, only to not hang out with them any more. I took a temporary placement in an industry and work environment I would have never imagined myself to be in; and yet, that risk paid off and I reiterate -- I love my job. I love the environment, the people, and what we do in general for everyone...

It has been a grand ride. Thought I found my co-conspirator, my partner, for future endeavors ... but I was wrong. Again. Oh well. That's life, right? You make choices, bad decisions, and all of that .... and you might feel as if the world is against you, but it's not. You can't stay down. There's always a window of opportunity opening somewhere after a door closes.

I just know that I don't like the bar scene. I did. But I don't want to do that every night. Maybe once in a blue moon. I am sorta set in my ways, but I'm still open to suggestions. I know what I want and what I deserve. I shouldn't try to make something happen because that's what it should be. It should happen on its own accord. At its own pace.

Some people are in a hurry to get that "normal" life.... and as much as I want someone or something ... sometimes it isn't meant to be. And yes, that hurts. Gotta keep moving forward. And continue. And all that.

But that is what is up with my life. At the moment, I'm sad. Yet, I'm still smiling. Kinda.

It's the New Year

...and this is my first post. Hello 2013! Halfway through January already. So many changes upcoming and beyond!

The new year started with a whimper, but its building momentum. And I can't wait for everything to fall into place. I find it amusing that my last post here was quite retrospective, and this current post will be some rambling nonsense.

:: smiles ::

Hope everyone's year goes well.

The New Year Approaches

A part of me has been deceived that dreams can come true while the rose-colored wearing childish me still believes that fairy tales still do happen. Have you ever thought that while opposites may attract that perhaps the differences between those individuals are the only thing that stands in their blending? That perhaps being different detains the ability to actually connect? Or is it just again the part of me that chooses to be jaded is inclined to believe that all this past year has been in vain? I myself truly don't know for a warring faction believes that it can be salvaged, it can be made better, and it can withstand any and all disagreements that may occur in the not-too-distant future. I feel as if every day is a battle within- a walking contradiction in truths. Some days, happiness blossoms a multitude of paths and detours; any step in those result in the same guaranteed happiness. Or is that itself a lie? I never thought that I would succumb in this -- I feel my true me is working double time because it doesn't know which part to give in. I suppose a blending of all can be judiciously done, but the question remains is how much of each part will need to be thrown out? How much of the dreamer/writer must be let go so that the more logical/sane one can flourish? It shouldn't be this difficult to decide which of me should be given the control, but again, I fight within the boundaries that I never knew existed. Why can't I be childish and be serious at the same time? If everything in moderation is good, how come I feel a part of is drowning every time one over the other is chosen? I sound deliciously deranged writing this post, and oddly enough, it's exhilarating to just be writing once more. I've kept my writer self from actually putting my wayward thoughts to actual words most of this year, and when I do write, it's of no importance. Yes, I feel more than I should, and letting go was never my strongest suit. While that remains to be truth, every day less of my writer self has been inclined to say anything lest the self-doubt of never being published, of never being read, become a reality. And that reality is another truth for all the ideas lay wasted inside the crevices of my brain. Poor brain! Of late, it has been fed scientific pharmaceutical mumbo-jumbo because of the job. A job I truly do enjoy. A job where making a difference is making sure the patients get their dose. A job where the client actually cares for its patients. A job that is only a contract to last to September 2013...unless a permanent position is offered before then.

This past year has been full of surprises and they weren't all good ones. It's been a year of growth for the most part. The trusted faves have all but disappeared...the social life that flourished since the break-up with W has faltered into nothingness. I don't hang out with the faves anymore, and only kept in contact with a handful few that remain. I've suffered some nights where anger won and have been scared out of my skin more than a few times by my beloved. I guess even the strongest of us can snap and brave through some breakdowns now and again. The impulse of flight was stronger than fight, but I stayed despite through of all that. And a few glimmers of true happiness have appeared under the guise of more bad news. Hope once again flows, and love? Though unspoken truly is there. We are both stubborn, my beloved and I. Both wanting to do it our way; both having to make sacrifices. And both still realizing that the road that lay ahead might be twisted, sharp with uncertainties, but mostly, the excitement of something new is truly within our grasp. Maybe the new year will be the year of us. Perhaps the universe has finally relented and have acquiesced us a break from the bad...who knows if that is the case. There are still rough patches that we must travel through, and still, a many lumps of uncertainties lay beyond the well-travelled road. But my beloved and I have survived this far together, and even that brief split made us stronger. And yet through it all, something feels amiss.

I crave more each day in terms of who I am. I've been friend, lover, girlfriend, daughter, cousin, aunt, enemy, coworker, and once I was a fiancée. Then I became the disillusioned fiancée, but that was a lesson that needed to be learned. And I'm still learning. It never bothered me before but the label of wife, of being someone's legal significant other, has been something that I have been craving more of late....not anytime soon, but I do want it. Alone with my thoughts this morning, I've recounted times of when I ever wanted to be someone's wife, and I know I've thought of it a lot while being with someone before I met my beloved, but I also knew then it wasn't going to happen. With my beloved, I can't make heads or tails if it will or if it will not, and it drives me mad that he can switch it off and on. Granted, he isn't done with the living it up, party all night and truthfully, neither am I, but I know I want to be his wife, and I want him to be my husband no matter how thick-headed he is. But he doesn't believe my love for him. And I know not how else I can show him... makes me wonder if he will ever, and thereby causes me to wonder if he and I should ever be married. He says he doesn't want marriage one day, and the next he says he wants to settle down. I do not know what to make of that. I know what I want, and each day, that want becomes stronger and I want it sooner than later.

I want our engagement to be true. Yes, he calls me his fiancée, but he has not asked. He has not attempted to make it official. I want our life to be ours, but we battle with our respective families more of late than actually make peace. We make plans to leave, but will it ever bear fruit? Yes, I know we are young. I'm older, but I feel as if younger to his years. Then other times I feel as if I have to hold his hand while he struggles to let go of his college days. We are a conundrum of our selves. A mismatched pair of doubts, dreams, and desires. Yet, the end goal is the same: we want to be happy. And we want to make the other happy. And we struggle every day in how to make each other comfortable with the hands that life has dealt us. We shrink into ourselves, and we make do what we can. I wonder if we will ever let ourselves just feel. Even I don't let myself just feel anymore. Perhaps I really am too serious. I just want us to be happy within ourselves and within us.

Happiness is only a word, but it holds each and everyone of us within its tight leash. I feel revenge would be the easier course here, but who knows, perhaps madness will rule us all.

It's November ...

and time truly flies, doesn't it, when there's a lot going on.

Working tons, thinking always... friendships lost, new ones made.
I'm a lot more myself nowadays, and I'm thankful for my medication. It keeps me grounded :) And the work goes well.

I miss some things from the previous years ...... but all in all, I'm better off, in a way. Maybe... /shrugs

Wake Me Up When September Ends ...

Looks like I'm skipping every other month... August ended with a whimper, and September is starting out just fine. I start a new path on Monday. Still in healthcare, but now focusing in pharmaceutical companies. Exciting stuff, eh? Perhaps.

Rum is yum. I've started running again. Twice today. Monday will be an early day...hours will be 8a-6p Mon-Fri and hooray, weekends are, once again, off. Sweetness!

The medication I'm on make me very sleepy; it's hard not to take naps. Fortunately, today, I only took one, and it was about 20 minutes long... yes, I shouldn't sleep so much, but it was such a relaxing day, beautiful at that -hence, the running twice outside - oh! I'm on the third book of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice  series. Very good thus far, and I can't wait for season 3 of HBO's Game of Thrones series.

Relationship-wise, we're like more couples, I suppose. We fight, we make up, and repeat. But, in its own way, we're finding out us, and growing together as a couple while still progressing our own individual selves.

I guess that's about it for this update. Sorry for the randomness.

Come Over

This song by Kenny Chesney has been in my head since I first heard of it play on WFMS. I find myself humming the song out loud while I'm at work. Also, I can't wait to see Mr. Chesney on the Brothers of the Sun tour with Mr. McGraw next weekend. It's going to be epic.

The Dark Knight Rises premiered last night, and I saw it at Legacy Cinema with my main man. Sad that the Dark Knight trilogy is now finished. Thrilled about The Hobbit movie coming out to theaters two days before my birthday :)

Anyways ...

I've been thinking about many different things. Mainly on how to cope with my depression. I have an appointment to see someone on Monday at 6:30pm. I just want to start feeling better. And I don't like feeling  this way...and my stress combined with job plus other things are driving me bonkers.

The toilet has been my best friend of late since I've been vomiting whenever I'm feeling too overwhelmed. Hmm, since I wasn't editing myself, I have said more than I wanted to...I guess I'll stop there. Hopefully, I can keep my sanity. Otherwise, I may find myself wishing for a padded room complete with a straight-jacket.

I have to keep reminding myself to not lose hope.

Stress free? Ha, I wish!

So, I skipped the entire month of June. The skinny- I received a promotion. And I start July 10. I'm overwhelmed, but not with work. Though, work is also overwhelming, very much so. Yet, somehow, I'm trudging through it. I feel like I've stepped into a rabbit hole and I'm Alice, but I'm definitely not in wonderland. The characters are here,though-- the mad queen of hearts, the deranged mad hatter, and don't forget- the white rabbit. I'm probably not making sense. Nowadays, I mostly carry conversations in my head because at least I know I kinda make sense to me... Sometimes. Lol. In all honesty and seriousness, I just don't know why I bother. It's not like anything I do matter. I hate it when plans are in progress, and then, bam, no plans at all. Blah. So, now I'm stuck with three days off of nothing to do. Fantastic, isn't it? I watched the last Harry Potter films a couple of nights ago...made me realize that books are better than movies. (sometimes) And I think I'm done rambling... I had something to write, but I didn't know how to word it. Hell, I do know. I just don't want to write out... Maybe next month, or next year.
